Please note that all courses run over one day unless otherwise stated. Please note that our part time courses may run over a combination of several evenings or Saturdays. Saturdays will be indicated with an * (asterisk).

We currently have hundreds of course titles available so if you do not find the course that you desire, contact your Account Executive to book or customise according to your requirements. If you have an urgent or customised requirement, consider our On-site training solution where we take our Training centre to your facilities – all we need is a power-supplied room with desks!

How to choose the right class to maximise your learning experience


Levels and Prerequisites
Most software products are broken down into two to three levels or modules. It is vitally important to understand that each Instructor expects that you have met the prerequisites by attending the previous levels or courses. We utilise ElementK authorised courseware which is one of the largest and most professional IT publishers in the world. As such their courseware meets and exceeds very high standards. Please do not assume for a moment that a Level 1 course, for example, is too “beginner” to bother with. Each level builds upon the next to create strong foundations and a firm understanding of a particular product. We also do not advise clients who aim to attend a range of different software programmes to attend Level 1, Level 2 and Advanced in quick succession. We suggest doing all Level 1 courses first before moving on to doing all Level 2 courses and so on. Furthermore, before moving onto the next Level, make sure you are comfortable on the prerequisite level first and if not, schedule a free repeat of the class in question.

Windows
Every courseware manual developed, and Instructor, makes the assumption that the delegate must have sufficient operational knowledge of the workings of Windows and the Operating System. This can be met by attending at least Windows Level 1 and if possible Level 2 and Advanced.

Synopses
If uncertain of which course or level to do, request a synopsis overview of the course you desire. All instruction during the class will be based on an assumption that the delegates are familiar with the prerequisites stated on the synopses.

For example: If the Excel Advanced level contains the objectives that you would like to be taught on, one must be able to comfortably meet at least 80% of the objectives described in Excel Level 1 and Level 2.

Delegates who ignore the aforementioned advice can actually cause depreciation in the success of a class. Instructors run to a tight schedule and may not have time to cover prerequisites not met. Please help to make the learning experience a worthwhile and rewarding one by attending the right class in the correct order. Ask for guidance from your Account Executive if uncertain.

Bookings
In order to streamline course bookings and prevent errors over the phone, course bookings will only be accepted in the following format. Please complete the table and return to us. Courses with available seating will be registered and you will receive standard written confirmation in 2 days. Courses that could not be accommodated will be returned to you with optional available dates. This procedure will also allow us to monitor requirements and schedule extra classes where demand permits. We also schedule only four courses per delegate at a time. Due to the aforementioned explanations this will allow one to repeat a class or spend more time practising before the next level without disrupting and rescheduling an entire range of more than four courses. Please peruse our training schedule and complete the table with course details as required.
